Can permanent make-up or microblading be removed by laser?

Many people, especially women, opt for a cosmetic tattoo: permanent eyebrow or lip make-up; microblading or permanent ‘hair drawing’ to avoid having to wear make-up every day. They are one of the most popular cosmetic tattoos. However, this can be restrictive as fashion can change quickly, unfortunately this also applies to cosmetic tattoos. This is particularly the case with eyebrows. However, the density and shape of eyebrows often change in line with the current ideal of beauty. Laser removal of permanent make-up:

The ink in facial tattoos is usually easy to remove, after 2 to 5 laser treatments we are usually done. Older inks are usually more difficult to remove than newer ones. Some inks fade after a few treatments, others oxidise which means the ink colour changes to red or even black! If this happens, the tattoo/permanent make-up will need further treatment to allow it to fade.

For most facial pigmentation, the success of treatment with our QUANTA EVO-C laser with three different laser wavelengths is much faster than with ‘normal’ tattoos.

Can microblading or permanent make-up be removed by laser?

This depends entirely on the location of the tattoo. The best-known cosmetic tattoos are eyebrow and lip pigmentation. You can have these areas of skin treated with a laser at the LASER ÄSTHETIK practice team to remove the tattoo.

The treatment for permanent make-up removal at LASER ÄSTHETIK:

Laser removal for eyebrow tattoos is a safe procedure. The light of the laser ‘hits’ the colour particles in the deeper layers of the skin and therefore the skin is not destroyed. During the treatment, you experience the sensation of a hot ‘prick’ on the treated skin area. After a few minutes, the treatment is finished and you can return to your everyday activities. After the treatment, there may be a slight stinging sensation and the area may swell slightly.
