Before your first session we photograph your permanent make-up – so you can see exactly how it fades from session to session.

After disinfecting and cooling the tattooed area, the laser treatment begins, which only takes a few minutes depending on the size of your permanent make-up. The treated area is then cooled and creamed with a cooling ointment. The skin area usually heals without scarring after 1 week.

HOW DOES PERMANENT MAKE-UP REMOVAL WORK?

When your make-up is tattooed, colour pigments are inserted into the middle layer of the skin.

These colours cannot be broken down by the body. They therefore remain permanently in the skin and ensure the make-up result.

When removing permanent make-up, the various layers of colour particles are heated to a high temperature with the laser and destroyed in such a way that they break down into several small pigments.

The colour pigments broken down by the professional laser are foreign bodies for the human body and are therefore removed via the lymphatic system and excreted from the body.

How long does PMU removal treatment take?

The treated skin area will usually only heal after a few days (it usually takes between 5-10 days). There should be 4 to 6 weeks between treatments to allow the skin and immune system to recover. It is important that the wound is completely healed before the next treatment takes place. In total, we usually need from 3-6 treatments for complete removal.

How long does the skin need to regenerate after PMU removal?

The normal reaction of the skin after treatment is Redness, swelling, possibly crust formation. After a few days will the treated site be healed. Between the treatments should be from 4 to 6 weeks, so that the skin and the immune system can recover. It is important that the wound is completely healed before the next treatment can takes place.

What side effects may occur by pmu removal?

As with any aesthetic treatment, there is also a risk in permanent make-up removal. However, getting a tattoo away is the safest and most skin-friendy removal method. The treated skin is reddened and may swell. In rare cases, bleeding may occur. If a crust forms, it should not be removed, as there is a risk of scarring. It is important to follow the care instructions of our laser therapists.

What should I avoid after PMU laser treatment?

When itching is as gentle as possible, do not scratch the treated area and remove the scab (or blisters) mechanically. After a few days, they shall heal completely. What should I watch before and after PMU removal treatment?

Light-sensitive drugs that are not taken regularly should be avoided before treatment. The affected area must be kept dry and absolutely clean for two days after the treatment in order not to expose it to infection. The permanent make-up should not be exposed to the strong sun during the treatment period.

Can all colours of a permanent make-up be removed?

The laser pigmentation removal can remove allmost all colour pigments. Black or light pink, brown and red pigmatations can be removed most easily. There may accure a colour-change during the treatment.

How does the laser work during PMU removal treatment?

During the permanent make-up removal, the pigmentation/ink is targeted and "torn" with the laser light. These fragmented color pigments dissolve a cleansing process in the body so that the color pigments are then removed via the lymphatic system.

Will the health insurance funds cover part or all of the costs?

As a rule, health insurance funds do not cover the cost of removing a tattoo. An exception (with partial food takeover) may exist in a private health insurance. If you are interested in this, we recommend that you discuss this with your health insurance company prior to starting treatment.

Even dark-skinned people can have a pigmentation removed. However, there is a risk of pigmentation disorder.

Do stay scars or pigment spots after permanent makeup removal?

No, usually not. The removal of a tattoo with the LASER ÄSTHETIK is save and leaves no scars as long as the customers adhere to the instructions of our therapist. For particularly tanned skin, it is possible to see the bright pigment spots.

How many treatments do I need for permanent make-up removal?

You need several sessions to remove a permanent make-up. The exact number of treatments is individually and experience 2 to 6 treatments required for a complete removal of permanent make-ups.
