Unlike the Dermaroller, where the needles never touch the skin surface in a completely vertical position, with the Dermapen 4™ they hit the skin at an exact right angle.

The needles thus cause injury to the skin through many fine holes. The immune system then immediately begins to heal the area itself and builds up new collagen and elastin.

Cosmetically treated (0.5 - 1.0 mm), this has a rejuvenating effect - the blood flow to the skin is significantly increased, which leads to a better supply of nutrients and a more beautiful and uniform complexion. The skin becomes thicker again, the pore size is reduced, pigmentation changes are minimised and the skin generally appears younger.
