With the laser hair removal technology 6 to 8 treatments are sufficient. The repetition of the treatment is necessary, as only 12 to 15% of the hair in the body grow. Only those hairs that are growing (anagen phase) are optimally treatable. Only these hairs have a connection to the hair papilla, the area which is discharged during the treatment by denaturation, in order to prevent a regrowth of the hair. The rest of the hair follicles are in the resting state under the skin and are therefore only permanently removed in subsequent treatments. An exact number of necessary treatments for permanent hair removal can not be predicted in advance, since each person has other treatment requirements.
